Manager, Business Analytics (m/f)

As a Manager, Business Analytics (m/f) with Audible, you will work daily with our marketing teams internationally (AU / DE / FR / JP / UK) to understand our customers’ needs and to optimize our service. You will manage projects, define concepts, run analysis and interpret results. You must be passionate about data-driven decision making, uncompromisingly detail oriented, smart, efficient and driven to help our business succeed. You love working with analytic tools and be an advocate for your customer group.

Key Accountabilities

• You will work closely together with the marketing departments in Australia, Germany, France, Japan and UK in order to understand their analytics needs.
• You will proactively suggest analysis and projects aiming to improve the customer experience and the business performance.
• You will own the customer analytics roadmap, defining together with the marketing teams projects helping to optimize our customer development strategy and ensuring the implementation of these projects.
• You will conceptualize and run analysis that generate insights on customer behavior and customer needs. Moreover you will closely cooperate with our Data Science team to define, interpret and apply models and machine learning projects in this area.
• You will communicate the results of analytics efforts in a meaningful way to business and stakeholders.

Your profile:

• You hold a degree in science, technology or mathematics.
• You enjoy working in a team of highly engaged individuals.
• +3 years of relevant experience in the areas of Business Intelligence, Analytics or Consulting in an eCommerce environment.
• Fluent in English. That will allow you to interact easily with our wonderful team in a fun and dynamic environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Passion for numbers, data and metrics, but also for delivering analysis of highest quality.
• You are a self-starter capable to taking initiative and working with minimal direction. Also a self-starter and be able to learn on the go.
• You must also be able to manage timelines and coordinate your work with other teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• On top of that you have a working understanding of SQL and/or SPSS, R or any other statistics tool? Awesome!
