Job Description:

Our challenging design projects demand innovative solutions to complex design issues and push “more-than-Moore” process technology performance. In this role, youll have the freedom to pursue innovation in a continually changing market space. As an Analog IC Design Engineer in our group, youll design and bring to market leading precision analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits including Sigma-Delta and other A/D and D/A converters, linear and switched amplifiers, voltage references, and sensor signal conditioning systems.

IC systems definition and optimal process selection
Signal chain architecture and topology selection and evaluation
Circuit design for performance and manufacturability
Close supervision of IC layout
Design verification (analog and mixed-signal)
Working with test and validation team on lab evaluation and trouble-shooting
Working with systems and applications engineers to define cost effective, creative solutions that meet market needs and provide significant value to the end application

Basic Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must have experience and track record in analog and mixed signal IC design and characterization of ADCs, DACs, amplifiers, bandgap references, sensor conditioning circuits. Strongly preferred are deep knowledge of delta-sigma architectures and solid understanding of trade-offs in low noise / low distortion signal chain design.

Degree: Ph.D.E.E. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with 3 to 5 years work experience
Highly self-motivated with good communication and teamwork skills
Willing to learn and accomplish tasks independently
IC design tools (Cadence/Spice) knowledge
Good knowledge of written and spoken English
Track record of successful Sigma-Delta converter designs is strongly preferred
Good presentation skills
HDL and digital skills are a plus
basic knowledge of German is a plus
